After still getting over a week-long cold/cough/crud, we’ve needed something to help us feel a little more energized. This juice has everything you need to feel that extra BOOST of energy!

First up, we have carrots. Carrots give this juice its bright, beautiful color… and we use an entire POUND of ‘em in this recipe!

Carrots have a wealth of valuable nutrition and when you juice them, you can get a concentrated dose of their healing power. From balancing blood sugar, improving blood health, relieving congestion, fighting inflammation and cleansing the kidneys to protecting eyesight, brain function and fighting Leukemia, carrot juice benefits can help nearly every part of your body.

Then, you’ve got apples. “An apple a day keeps the doctor away” is an old Welsh proverb that most of us are familiar with, but what makes this fruit so special?

One apple contains vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin B6, riboflavin, potassium, copper, manganese, and magnesium. Apples are also very good sources of dietary fiber and a single serving provides 12% of the daily fiber requirement. They help in detoxifying the body and improving your overall health!

Next up: ginger. The Chinese and Indians have used ginger tonics to treat ailments for over 4,700 years, and it was a priceless commodity during the Roman Empire trade because of its medicinal properties.

So, what makes ginger so good for us? It has a proven ability to boost bone health, strengthen the immune system, increase appetite, prevent various types of cancer, improve respiratory conditions, aid in digestion, eliminate arthritis symptoms, reduce excess gas, and relieve pains related to menstrual disorders, nausea, and flu. Where do I sign up?!

Finally, we’ve got the trusted ol’ lemon. Lemon helps maintain your immune system and thus protects you from the clutches of most types of infections. Packed with all the goodness, its cleansing and healing effects will have positive effects on your health in the long run.
